MP & MS Charity Game of Dec. 1, 2006
This was a monster game, with booze and food galore. Jim's crew of party animals and co-workers started the game at 3:00 pm, played to 10:00 pm, then took the limo out to 4 am. What happens at Larkspur Poker, stays with the limo driver.
Special thanks goes to Alvin Aries of www.Gem-Limo.com for his very generous donation of limo time. No one knew just how generous Alvin was going to have to be to take care of Jim and his crazed buddies.
A good time.

Game of Sept. 9, 2006
Moto_Stack and Greg Stable_Stack cleaned up, winning about $120 bucks each. A good time was had by all.
Rafting/Poker Game of June 2006
A good time was had by all of the South Fork of the American River.
Short Notice Game of May, 2006
With just 3 days of notice 7 fierce players assembled for a Friday night of wild action and moderate
drinking. Jimmy Marin of www.JimmyMarin.com demonstrated an unsettling ability to improve vastly over a 4 hour period. He played the room like a harp, pretending to have never played before and pretending to have honed his skills by watching ESPN.
The initial buy-in was a mere 60 dollars. Stable_Stack was able to turn a profit without reaching back for a re-buy. Smart_Stack showed mercy over Tight_Stack by showing his nut full house prior to the final round of betting. Smart_Stack cleaned out Tight_Stack in a prior hand with 4 Kings.
We played Omaha hi-low, 7 card stud and a couple of hands of Hold'em.
Game of January, 2006
Ball Stack rallied a strong showing despite two "paper cuts" to his lower extremities the day before. He took one for the team and kept on ticking.
Math_Stack, a new player made an excellent showing as did Del_Stack.
Game of October, 2005
Stable stack cleaned up with 2 monster pots won with 4 of a kind. DA stack was on unbeatable rush.
Game of September, 2005.
A great time was had by all. Gold_Stack was very amusing. Our new player DA _Stack played so well that he was issued 3 cards only in the Omaha games. He still took home a bundle and bought pizza for all.
Stable_Stack was house-broken in the last hand, having his Queens full of Aces "boat"-slapped by Aces full of Jacks. Fondling a pair of Queens, Stable_Stack saw fit to bet into Tight-Stack on a board showing Ace, Ace, Jack. The crowd predicted a Stable_Stack train wreck, noting that Tight_Stack had played very few hands during the night. Tight_Stack started with Ace, Jack, and flopped a full boat of Aces full of Jacks.
The turn produced a Queen, giving Stable_Stack 3 very expensive ladies and two Aces on the board that were two good to let go. After several raises and reraises, Smart_Stack saw fit to inform Stable_Stack of the numerous hands that were possible. Only the thought of 4 Aces slowed down the action.
The river produced a Jack. The showdown produced a groan heard all the way to the Silver Peso.
